Free Naloxone

Take Home Naloxone Program — Free naloxone kits for anyone at risk of opioid overdose, or anyone who might witness one. No health card, prescription, or ID required. Training takes less than 10 minutes. Available at pharmacies and harm reduction sites across NS.

Harm Reduction Services

  • ReFIX (Halifax) — Safe, supervised space to use drugs with trained staff who respond to overdoses. Also provides health services and treatment connections.
  • PeerSix (Sydney) — Supervised consumption and harm reduction in Cape Breton.
  • Northern Healthy Connections Society (Truro) — Needle exchange, naloxone, mobile outreach, and peer support. Call 902-956-3965.

Peer Support
